My recent stay at Oca Caraiva was a resplendent escape, nestled just 300 metres from the tranquil Caraiva Beach, where the sound of crashing waves enveloped me each waking moment. This charming hostel draws you in with its homely atmosphere and an exceptionally warm staff who, despite my limited Portuguese, made me feel right at home-an experience enhanced by occasional visits from their delightful canine companions. With amenities like outdoor sleeping spaces and scenic gazebos, the property fosters a wonderfully relaxed vibe, perfect for sun-soaked afternoons with my family or new friends alike. For anyone seeking a welcoming retreat and a vibrant community amidst nature's embrace, Oca Caraiva is truly an unmissable gem.
